Amit Yoran

Amit Yoran, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO), leads Tenable in its vision to empower organizations to understand and reduce their cybersecurity risk. Amit brings a unique blend of leadership in the private and public sectors to Tenable. He previously served as RSA’s president, spearheading its transformation into one of the most successful global security companies. Amit joined RSA through its acquisition of NetWitness, the network forensics company he founded and led as CEO. Prior to NetWitness, Amit served as founding director of the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) program in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He was also founder and CEO of Riptech, one of the first managed security service providers (MSSP), which Symantec acquired in 2002. Amit serves on the board of directors for BlackLine, Inc. (Nasdaq: BL) and the Center for Internet Security (CIS). He is recognized as a security industry thought-leader and influencer, and is often sought out for industry events and in the media to provide expert commentary on his vision for cybersecurity’s future.

Steve Vintz

Steve Vintz is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of financial, operational and strategic planning experience working with growth companies in the technology industry. As Tenable’s chief financial officer (CFO), he oversees finance, tax, treasury, IT and legal worldwide. In 2015, Steve led Tenable through its Series B funding round which was, at the time, the largest capital raise for a private cybersecurity company. He then led the company’s initial public offering in 2018, which was one of the largest raises for a U.S.-listed security company. Previously, from 2001 until its sale in June 2014, Steve served as executive vice president and CFO of Vocus. During his tenure, he positioned the company for 40 consecutive quarters of revenue growth and rapid expansion, including an IPO, a follow-on offering and several acquisitions. Prior to Vocus, Steve was Snyder Communications’ vice president of strategic planning and analysis, where he played a lead role in more than 45 acquisitions and oversaw its growth from $86 million to nearly $1 billion in revenue. He also worked for Ernst & Young’s entrepreneurial services/middle market group in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.

Steve has received numerous awards and distinctions during his career, including Northern Virginia Technology Council's Public Company CFO of the Year. He is a certified public accountant and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola University, Sellinger School of Business.

Mark Thurmond

Mark Thurmond is an accomplished technology industry veteran with deep go-to-market experience leading global sales and operations for prominent IT and cloud technology companies. He serves as Tenable’s chief operating officer (COO), responsible for the company’s global field operations, including sales, professional services, technical support and demand generation. Previously, he served as COO of Turbonomic, where he was responsible for aligning the company’s global operations to help customers on their journey to hybrid cloud. Prior to this role, he was executive vice president at Qlik Technologies, where he led worldwide sales and services. Mark also served in multiple global sales and operations leadership positions for divisions of Dell EMC, including senior vice president of worldwide sales at VCE and RSA.

Shai Morag

Chief product officer

Shai Morag, former CEO and co-founder of Ermetic, brought over 25 years of experience in product management, technology leadership and senior executive roles to Tenable prior to the acquisition of Ermetic in 2023. Before Ermetic, Shai served as the co-founder and CEO of Secdo, a cyber security company, where he led the company from its inception to a successful acquisition by Palo Alto Networks in only three years. Before Secdo, Shai served as the CEO of Integrity-Project, a company specialized in connectivity, networking and security solutions. He led them to significant growth and an acquisition by Mellanox. Shai also served for 10 years as an officer in the IDF Intelligence Corps Unit 8200, where he held a variety of roles in management and product development, and won several national awards for excellence. Shai is a graduate of the elite program, Talpiot, and earned an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Robert Huber

Robert Huber, Tenable’s chief security officer, head of research and president of Tenable Public Sector, LLC, oversees the company's global security and research teams, working cross-functionally to reduce risk to the organization, its customers and the broader industry. He has more than 25 years of cyber security experience across the financial, defense, critical infrastructure and technology sectors. Prior to joining Tenable, Robert was a chief security and strategy officer at Eastwind Networks. He was previously co-founder and president of Critical Intelligence, an OT threat intelligence and solutions provider, which cyber threat intelligence leader iSIGHT Partners acquired in 2015. He also served as a member of the Lockheed Martin CIRT, an OT security researcher at Idaho National Laboratory and was a chief security architect for JP Morgan Chase. Robert is a board member and advisor to several security startups and served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard for more than 22 years. Before retiring in 2021, he provided offensive and defensive cyber capabilities supporting the National Security Agency (NSA), United States Cyber Command and state missions.

Dave Feringa, Tenable's chief revenue officer, develops and manages strategies for accelerating and scaling global revenue. An industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience leading enterprise sales teams, Dave has worked at a number of notable leading tech sector companies. Prior to joining Tenable, Dave was executive vice president of F5’s worldwide sales, where he helped drive the company’s growth from $300 million to a multi-billion dollar provider of application delivery, networking and security solutions. Prior to F5, Dave spent nearly two decades in senior sales leadership roles at technology companies including Lucent, Cisco and Honeywell. Dave has a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University.

Meg O’Leary

Meg O’Leary has more than two decades of marketing and communications experience. She has built powerhouse brands for some of the most respected companies in cybersecurity. Meg’s expertise spans product marketing, messaging and positioning, data-driven demand generation and go-to-market strategies. Most recently, she served as chief marketing officer at Cybereason, where she helped to position the company as an endpoint security leader. Prior to joining Cybereason, she was chief marketing officer at Capsule8, a pioneer in cloud workload protection, which was acquired by Sophos. Outside of her CMO tenures, Meg co-founded InkHouse Marketing+Media, a bi-coastal public relations agency (now part of Berlin-Rosen), where she spearheaded hundreds of company and product launches, initial public offerings (IPOs), and exits. Meg also held senior-level marketing positions at Charles River Ventures, where she consulted to the firm’s portfolio companies on go-to-marketing strategies; Novera Software (now IBM), where she was vice president of marketing; and RSA Security, where she held various marketing and product management roles.

Bridgett Paradise, Tenable’s chief people and culture officer, brings more than 20 years of experience to her role. She leads the company’s human resources strategy and policies, global recruitment efforts and organizational development programs, all of which drive the company’s next phase of growth and international expansion. Bridgett is an accomplished and results-oriented human resources executive with a strong track record of building high-performing teams. Prior to joining Tenable, she served as chief people officer for Citadel Securities, a global financial institution in Chicago. She also served as Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s senior vice president and chief people officer, where her responsibilities spanned global talent management and recruitment, as well as organizational design and employee benefits. Bridgett also spent more than 20 years at Microsoft Corporation, where she last served as human resources’ general manager for the worldwide services division. Bridgett has a master’s degree in human resources management and a bachelor’s degree in business communications.

Michelle VonderHaar

Michelle VonderHaar, chief legal officer and general counsel, leads Tenable’s global legal organization. Michelle has 30 years of domestic and international legal experience and most recently served as senior vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary at HP, most recently driving transformation of the company’s commercial global legal affairs team from a three-region model to nine geographic markets. Prior to HP, she was the senior vice president, general counsel and secretary at Veritas Technologies. Michelle has also held various positions in Symantec Corporation’s legal department. Prior to her career at Veritas and Symantec, Michelle was a commercial litigator with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Los Angeles and Irvine, and a corporate finance and M&A attorney with O’Melveny & Myers LLP practicing in London, San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Michelle is admitted to practice law in California, Washington, D.C., New York, and England & Wales, and she received her law degree from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, where she was a member of and published in the Arizona Law Review. She serves as a board member for a number of nonprofit organizations, including Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation, Urban Libraries Council and Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County.

Patricia Grant, Tenable’s chief information officer, leads the IT organization to drive digital transformation, innovation and modernization to support the company’s ambitious business objectives. She has nearly 30 years of experience in a broad range of IT leadership roles. Patricia joined Tenable from ServiceNow, where she was the vice president of digital technology operations, leading multiple transformational initiatives for both employees and customers. She also built ServiceNow’s Women in Tech program and served as a mentor and advocate. Prior to ServiceNow, she worked at Symantec for 11 years and PeopleSoft/Oracle for nearly nine years. She holds an executive MBA and bachelor’s degrees in communication and in computer information systems.

Terry Dolce, executive vice president, operations, global business development and channels, is responsible for accelerating and strengthening Tenable's global partner ecosystem. With nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Terry brings a strong background and diverse skill set to Tenable's sales leadership team. Prior to Tenable, Terry was a principal at Crowe LLP, a top-10 advisory firm, where he led the company's governance, risk and compliance go-to-market strategy. Previously, Terry served as TRU8 Solutions’ chief executive officer. He was RSA's vice president of North American sales and its global sales chief of staff. Terry joined RSA when it acquired Archer Technologies, where he was the company’s first vice president of sales.

James Hayes

Senior vice president, global government affairs

James Hayes, senior vice president of global government affairs for Tenable, is a recognized government affairs executive with 20 years of public and private sector experience. In his role at Tenable, James has made it his mission to educate policymakers and government agency leaders about programs and policies that enable public and private sectors to better understand and reduce cybersecurity risk. James previously served as vice president of global government affairs for EMC Corporation, a Fortune 150 global information technology company. He also served as director of homeland security at Motorola. Known as a thought leader in cybersecurity policy, James has been recognized as a top lobbyist by “The Hill,” a Washington insider news outlet. James was also a Cyber Scoop 50 industry awards winner in 2022. He holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Alaska.

Michela Stribling, chief communications officer, has extensive experience in corporate marketing, from public relations to branded content and executive communications. A deft storyteller, she has worked for some of the world’s most respected brands, including Google, Hewlett-Packard and IBM. Before joining Tenable in 2017, she developed one of the most successful corporate newsrooms for IBM and established a groundbreaking partnership with TED. She spent two years at Coremetrics (an Accel Partners-backed startup acquired by IBM), building the company into a media darling through innovative campaigns. She established the internal communications function for Google at a time of hyper growth and was a member of the Google IPO team. Michela has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in communications management from the Annenberg School of the University of Southern California.

Matt Olton, senior vice president of corporate development and strategy, leads Tenable’s global strategy and corporate development, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and related activity. Matt joined Tenable in 2019 from Symantec Corporation, where he led corporate development and Symantec Ventures. Prior to Symantec, Matt led global corporate development and related activities for Dell Technologies Capital and EMC Corporation. Matt began his career as an M&A lawyer at Skadden Arps.

Jack Huffard, Tenable co-founder, is an accomplished start-up and growth software executive with more than 20 years of global go-to-market, operational and strategic planning experience. Jack has the rare perspective of taking a company from founding through IPO and beyond as a public company. Jack co-founded Tenable in 2002 and has served on the company’s board of directors from the beginning. From founding until 2018, Jack served as president and chief operating officer (COO), where he was responsible for driving Tenable’s global corporate strategy and business operations. From 2018 to 2019, Jack focused exclusively on business operations. He was also instrumental in Tenable’s venture funding process. In 2012, Jack led Tenable’s Series A raise of $50 million from Accel Partners. In 2015, he led Tenable’s Series B raise of $230 million from Accel and Insight Partners, which was the largest private cyber-funding round in the country at the time.

Jack was a major contributor to the IPO process and IPO of 2018, one of the largest raises for a U.S.-listed security company since 2013. Before co-founding Tenable in 2002, Jack was a director of corporate development for Enterasys Networks. Prior to Enterasys, Jack served in various management and sales positions at John Hancock and Marriott Corporation. He received the 2013 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for defense and security. Jack has a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and a master’s degree from Babson College. He serves on a variety of corporate and nonprofit advisory boards.

Brooke Seawell

Brooke Seawell is the chairman of the audit committee on Tenable's board of directors. Brooke brings more than 35 years of industry experience in finance, accounting, governance and business operations to Tenable, including previous executive roles as chief financial officer at leading technology companies such as Synopsys and Weitek. Brooke serves on the board of directors of a number of category-leading public technology companies, including Tableau Software and NVIDIA. During his career, he has been involved in 10 IPOs and numerous acquisitions. Brooke is a venture partner at NEA, where he focuses on software, systems and internet investments. He was previously a partner with Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) from 2000-2004. Brooke has a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. He previously served on Stanford Business School’s management board and athletic board.

Since his retirement as RSA’s chief executive officer, Art Coviello has remained active in the security industry, investing in and advising a number of security startups as a private investor, and in his roles as a venture partner at Rally Ventures (an early-stage investor in business technologies) and as an advisor to ClearSky Security Fund. A senior advisor to McKinsey’s Cybersecurity Practice, Art also works with companies, industries and governments to inform and shape the evolution of security strategy to meet challenges organizations face today and tomorrow. His decades of expertise and influence make him a recognized leader in the field and he is a regular speaker at conferences and forums around the world. Prior to RSA, Art developed extensive operating and financial management expertise in several technology companies. He started his career as a certified public accountant at Deloitte, Haskins & Sells (Deloitte). Art serves on the boards of directors at Synchrony Financial, Cylance, Bugcrowd, Tenable and Capsule8. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts in 1975 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting.

Margaret Keane is the former Executive Chair of the Board of Directors of Synchrony, one of the nation's premier consumer financial services companies. Previously, she was chief executive officer and a member of Synchrony's board of directors, leading the company in its initial public offering (IPO) in 2014 and separation from GE Capital in 2015. Under Margaret's leadership, Synchrony grew to 170 on the Fortune 500 list and was consistently named among Fortune's Top 100 Best Companies to Work For. Margaret spent nearly two decades in leadership roles at GE Capital, where she led the retail card platform as president and CEO before assuming the role of president and CEO of the GE Capital North American Retail Finance business. She has been consistently recognized as one of Fortune's “Most Powerful Women” and American Banker's “Most Powerful Women in Finance.” Fortune has also named Margaret to their “Businessperson of the Year” list and she's been included as one of the “Most Influential Women in Finance” by Barron's. She serves on the board of directors for the Allstate Corporation and Cisive, a global provider of compliance-driven human capital management and risk management solutions. She also serves on Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's Board of Trustees. Margaret earned a bachelor's degree and an MBA from St. John's University and is a member of the St. John's University Board of Trustees.

Niloofar Razi Howe has been an investor, executive and entrepreneur in the technology industry for the past 25 years, with a focus on cybersecurity for the past 15. Niloofar is a senior operating partner at Energy Impact Partners, a venture capital fund investing in companies shaping the energy landscape of the future. She also serves on the boards of directors of Morgan Stanley Private Bank, NA and Morgan Stanley Bank, NA, Pondurance (as executive chair), Recorded Future, Swimlane, and Tamr. She is a life member at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Fellow, International Security Initiative, at New America, a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank. Previously, Niloofar served as chief strategy officer and senior vice president of Strategy and Operations at RSA, a global cybersecurity company, where she led corporate strategy, corporate development and planning, business development, global program management, business operations, security operations and federal business development. Prior to RSA, Niloofar served as the chief strategy officer of Endgame (acquired by Elastic), a leading enterprise software security company, where she was responsible for driving market and product strategy, as well as leading marketing, product management, corporate development and planning. Prior to her operating roles, she spent 12 years leading deal teams in private equity and venture capital; first as a principal at Zone Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm in Los Angeles, and then as managing director at Paladin Capital Group, a Washington, D.C.-based private equity fund focused on investing in next-generation security companies. She started her professional career as a lawyer with O’Melveny & Myers and as a consultant with McKinsey & Co.

Alex Tosheff has more than 25 years of business and technical leadership experience, currently serving as senior vice president and chief security officer (CSO) at VMware, leading all aspects of VMware’s cybersecurity, physical security and enterprise resiliency across the global enterprise. Alex is an ardent proponent of cybersecurity as a business value driver and is a recognized expert in the areas of security and technology innovation. He was a member of the Tenable customer advisory board from 2017 until his appointment to the company’s board of directors in September 2022. In addition, he serves as an executive advisory board member for several leading technology organizations, including Zoom, Inc. Alex joined VMware in July 2014 as vice president and CSO, after previously serving as chief information security officer and senior director of information security at PayPal and BillMeLater (acquired by PayPal). He also previously served as venture partner for St. Paul Venture Capital and chief technology officer at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Alex holds a bachelor of science in physics from California State University.

Ray Vicks is a financial expert and CPA with more than 40 years’ experience in public accounting and senior corporate positions. Ray possesses in-depth expertise in corporate governance and audit, public and private finance, SEC compliance, equity and debt structuring, strategic planning, business process internal control and enterprise risk management. He served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for the HSC Healthcare System, a Washington, D.C.-based integrated healthcare organization. Ray spent 33 years in public accounting, including 16 years as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he focused on the external audit and advisory risk management practice areas. He currently serves on the boards of directors of GoHealth Urgent Care, Inc. and Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) National Association. In December 2021, Ray was appointed to serve a five-year term as a member of the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board beginning July 1, 2022. Prior to these appointments, he served on the boards of directors of multiple organizations, including CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, where he was chairman of the audit and compliance committee and member of the finance and executive committees; National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Capital Area Chapter, where he served as treasurer; Take Stock in Children Manatee, where he served as treasurer. Ray earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Virginia Tech.

Linda Zecher Higgins has served as a member of Tenable's Board of Directors since 2019. She is the chair of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Linda is currently the CEO of IronNet, a Cybersecurity company. She is also the founder of the Barkley Group. She is the retired President, CEO, and director of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), a global education and learning company. Previously, she was Corporate Vice President of Microsoft's Worldwide Public Sector organization. Linda is currently a member of the Hasbro Corporation Board where she serves on the Audit Committee and chairs the Cyber Security Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University and an Honorary Doctorate from Bentley University.
