Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 4 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

- php: paths with NULL character were considered valid (CVE-2006-7243)

- php: XSLT file writing vulnerability (CVE-2012-0057)

- Race condition in the PCNTL extension in PHP before 5.3.4, when a user-defined signal handler exists, might allow context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a large number of concurrent signals. (CVE-2011-0753)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
