Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 6 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

 - WebKit: use-after-free vulnerability in handling of attribute manipulation (CVE-2010-1119)

 - WebKit: off-by-one memory read out of bounds vulnerability in handling of HTML lists (CVE-2010-1773)

 - Use-after-free vulnerability in WebKit in Apple Safari before 5.0 on Mac OS X 10.5 through 10.6 and Windows, and before 4.1 on Mac OS X 10.4, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via vectors related to the contentEditable attribute and removing container elements. (CVE-2010-1396)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
