Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 6 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

 - libarchive: directory traversal in bsdcpio (CVE-2015-2304)

 - libarchive: Infinite recursion in archive_read_support_format_iso9660.c resulting in denial of service (CVE-2019-1000020)

 - Integer signedness error in the archive_write_zip_data function in archive_write_set_format_zip.c in libarchive 3.1.2 and earlier, when running on 64-bit machines, allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via unspecified vectors, which triggers an improper conversion between unsigned and signed types, leading to a buffer overflow. (CVE-2013-0211)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
