Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 7 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

- mercurial: arbitrary command execution in mercurial repo with a git submodule (CVE-2017-17458)

- The _validaterepo function in sshpeer in Mercurial before 3.2.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted repository name in a clone command. (CVE-2014-9462)

- The convert extension in Mercurial before 3.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted git repository name. (CVE-2016-3105)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
