Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 5 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

 - php: buffer overflow in phar_set_inode() (CVE-2015-3329)

 - php: memory corruption in phar_parse_tarfile caused by empty entry file name (CVE-2015-4021)

 - Heap-based buffer overflow in the enchant_broker_request_dict function in ext/enchant/enchant.c in PHP before 5.4.38, 5.5.x before 5.5.22, and 5.6.x before 5.6.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors that trigger creation of multiple dictionaries. (CVE-2014-9705)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
