Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 6 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 6 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

 - OpenJDK: Incorrect handling of access control context in ForkJoinPool (Libraries, 8237117) (CVE-2020-14556)

 - OpenJDK: Bypass of boundary checks in nio.Buffer via concurrent access (Libraries, 8238920) (CVE-2020-14583)

 - In Eclipse OpenJ9 prior to version 0.21 on Power platforms, calling the System.arraycopy method with a length longer than the length of the source or destination array can, in certain specially crafted code patterns, cause the current method to return prematurely with an undefined return value. This allows whatever value happens to be in the return register at that time to be used as if it matches the method's declared return type. (CVE-2019-17639)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
