Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 8 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

 - ALPACA: Application Layer Protocol Confusion - Analyzing and Mitigating Cracks in TLS Authentication (CVE-2021-3618)

 - nginx: Memory corruption in the ngx_http_mp4_module (CVE-2022-41741)

 - NGINX before 1.17.7, with certain error_page configurations, allows HTTP request smuggling, as demonstrated by the ability of an attacker to read unauthorized web pages in environments where NGINX is being fronted by a load balancer. (CVE-2019-20372)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
