Synopsis

The remote Red Hat 8 host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities that will not be patched.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has one or more packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged by the vendor but will not be patched.

- nodejs-hosted-git-info: Regular Expression denial of service via shortcutMatch in fromUrl() (CVE-2021-23362)

- loader-utils: prototype pollution in function parseQuery in parseQuery.js (CVE-2022-37601)

- ssri 5.2.2-8.0.0, fixed in 8.0.1, processes SRIs using a regular expression which is vulnerable to a denial of service. Malicious SRIs could take an extremely long time to process, leading to denial of service. This issue only affects consumers using the strict option. (CVE-2021-27290)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.
