Course Description
This on-demand course consists of a series of targeted video instructions that provide the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use Nessus Expert, the industry standard vulnerability assessment solution featuring Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and External Attack Surface Assessment. Topics include attack surface discovery, basic and in-depth IAC scanning options using Terrascan, web app scans, and results analysis.
Customers who purchase the Nessus Expert course have access for one (1) year from purchase, with unlimited viewing ability. The final knowledge exam can be taken as many times as needed to pass, with a 7-day waiting period between attempts. Upon passing the knowledge exam, the learner will receive a digital badge and Certificate of Completion.
Certification is not available for Nessus Expert.
Audience
This course is suitable for all parties interested in learning or improving their knowledge of Nessus Expert.
Prerequisites
This course builds on the material in the Nessus Fundamentals course. We strongly advise completing Nessus Fundamentals prior to taking the Nessus Expert course.
CPE Credits
Tenable cannot award CPE credits toward industry certifications such as CISSP or GIAC, as CPE credits are awarded by the certification body that grants the certification (e.g., ISC2, SANS, PCI Council, etc.). Tenable provides a Certificate of Completion for this course, and in most cases this certificate is accepted by the certification body and CPE credit is awarded.
