Information
This configuration item determines whether the device will automatically wipe its contents after excessive (10) failed passcode attempts. It is recommended that this feature be enabled.
Solution
On the iOS device,
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap 'Passcode' or 'Touch ID & Passcode.'
3. Enter current passcode as prompted.
4. Tap Done.
5. Turn on Erase Data.
6. Tap Enable on confirmation dialog.
