The recommended state for this setting is: Enabled.
Rationale:
Google Safe Browsing helps protect devices every day by showing warnings to users when they attempt to navigate to dangerous sites or download dangerous files.
NOTE: Nessus has not performed this check. Please review the benchmark to ensure target compliance.
Solution
Follow the below steps to Enable the Safe Browsing feature:
Tap Chrome Icon.
Tap Menu Icon.
Tap Settings.
Scroll to the Advanced section.
Tap Privacy.
Check the Safe Browsing checkbox.
Impact:
Users will be shown a warning message before they visit a dangerous site or download a harmful app.
Default Value:
Enabled.
