3.6 Ensure 'Do Not Track' is set to 'Enabled'

Information

When you browse the web on computers or Android devices, you can send a request to websites not to collect or track your browsing data.
Note Chrome doesn't provide details of which websites and web services respect Do Not Track requests and how websites interpret them.
The recommended state for this setting is: Enabled.

NOTE: Nessus has not performed this check. Please review the benchmark to ensure target compliance.

Solution

Follow the below steps to Enabled the Do Not Track feature:

1. Tap Chrome Icon.
2. Tap Menu Icon.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Scroll to the Advanced section.
5. Tap Privacy.
6. Check the Do Not Track checkbox.

Impact:

users will be shown a warning message before they visit a dangerous site or download a harmful app.
