1.1.18.1 (L1) Ensure 'browser.safebrowsing.malware.enabled' is set to 'Enabled'

Information

This policy setting configures the use of alerts to users if they are visiting a known malicious website.

The recommended state for this setting is: Enabled

Build-in anti-exploitation features can reduce the risk of a user falling victim to a known malicious web site.

Solution

To establish the recommended configuration via GP, set the following UI path to Enabled :

Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Mozilla\Firefox\Preferences (Deprecated)\browser.safebrowsing.malware.enabled

Note: This Group Policy path does not exist by default. An additional Group Policy template ( firefox.admx/adml ) is required - it is available to download at this

None - this is the default behavior.
