GEN008180 - If the system is using LDAP for authentication or account information, the TLS certificate authority file and/or directory (as appropriate) must have mode 0644 (0755 for directories) or less permissive - cert8.db

Information

LDAP can be used to provide user authentication and account information, which are vital to system security. The LDAP client configuration must be protected from unauthorized modification.

Solution

Change the mode of the certificate database files.
# chmod 0644 /var/ldap/cert8.db /var/ldap/key3.db /var/ldap/secmod.db

NOTE: Some SAs may prefer to set the permissions to 0600. This is acceptable.
