WN08-SO-000081 - Windows must elevate all applications in User Account Control, not just signed ones.

Information

User Account Control (UAC) is a security mechanism for limiting the elevation of privileges, including administrative accounts, unless authorized. This setting configures whether Windows elevates all applications, not just signed ones.

Solution

Configure the policy value for Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> 'User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated' to 'Disabled'.
