What’s the Current State of Health Care IT Security? The SANS Institute Offers Up Some Answers
How prepared is the health care industry to keep up with advances in cybercrime? What impact are cloud computing, electronic health records, regulations and mobile devices having on health care providers?
To get some perspective on the current state of health care IT security, the SANS Institute completed a detailed industry-specific survey this past summer. Tenable co-sponsored the project, which gathered results from 373 respondents. Representing input from mostly US-based health care provider organizations with more than 1,000 employees, SANS will share its findings during a free webcast at 1 PM ET, Wednesday, October 30, 2013.
Following the webcast, SANS will release the complete report detailing the survey results. Everyone attending the webcast will be offered the report. Tenable will also post the report on our website once it is available.
If you’re a health care IT security practitioner or responsible for a health care organization’s compliance, audit or financial operations, this webcast and report will give you insights you can use for benchmarking, planning and evaluation of your current programs.
