The mISDN_sock_recvmsg function in drivers/isdn/mISDN/socket.c in the Linux kernel before 3.12.4 does not ensure that a certain length value is consistent with the size of an associated data structure, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a (1) recvfrom, (2) recvmmsg, or (3) recvmsg system call.

  - drivers/media/video/videobuf-vmalloc.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.24 does not initialize     videobuf_mapping data structures, which allows local users to trigger an incorrect count value and     videobuf leak via unspecified vectors, a different vulnerability than CVE-2010-5321. (CVE-2007-6761)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied on the package manager's report that the package is installed.

According to the versions of the kernel packages installed, the EulerOS Virtualization for ARM 64 installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

  - The assoc_array_insert_into_terminal_node() function in     'lib/assoc_array.c' in the Linux kernel before 4.5.3     does not check whether a slot is a leaf, which allows     local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel     memory or cause a denial of service (invalid pointer     dereference and out-of-bounds read) via an application     that uses associative-array data     structures.(CVE-2016-7914i1/4%0

  - It was found that the x86 ISA (Instruction Set     Architecture) is prone to a denial of service attack     inside a virtualized environment in the form of an     infinite loop in the microcode due to the way     (sequential) delivering of benign exceptions such as     #AC (alignment check exception) is handled.   - A race condition flaw was found in the Linux kernel's     ext4 file system implementation that allowed a local,     unprivileged user to crash the system by simultaneously     writing to a file and toggling the O_DIRECT flag using     fcntl(F_SETFL) on that file.(CVE-2014-8086i1/4%0

  - The mm_init function in kernel/fork.c in the Linux     kernel before 4.12.10 does not clear the -i1/4zexe_file     member of a new process's mm_struct, allowing a local     attacker to achieve a use-after-free condition and to     induce a kernel memory corruption on the system,     leading to a crash or possibly have unspecified other     impact by running a specially crafted program. Due to     the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be     fully ruled out, although we feel it is     unlikely.(CVE-2017-17052i1/4%0

  - A buffer overflow flaw was found in the way the Linux     kernel's Intel AES-NI instructions optimized version of     the RFC4106 GCM mode decryption functionality handled     fragmented packets.   - Buffer overflow in the complete_emulated_mmio function     in arch/x86/kvm/x86.c in the Linux kernel before 3.13.6     allows guest OS users to execute arbitrary code on the     host OS by leveraging a loop that triggers an invalid     memory copy affecting certain cancel_work_item     data.(CVE-2014-0049)

  - drivers/vhost/net.c in the Linux kernel before 3.13.10,     when mergeable buffers are disabled, does not properly     validate packet lengths, which allows guest OS users to     cause a denial of service (memory corruption and host     OS crash) or possibly gain privileges on the host OS     via crafted packets, related to the handle_rx and     get_rx_bufs functions.(CVE-2014-0077)

  - Race condition in the inet_frag_intern function in     net/ipv4/inet_fragment.c in the Linux kernel through     3.13.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of     service (use-after-free error) or possibly have     unspecified other impact via a large series of     fragmented ICMP Echo Request packets to a system with a     heavy CPU load.(CVE-2014-0100)

  - A flaw was found in the way the Linux kernel processed     an authenticated COOKIE_ECHO chunk during the     initialization of an SCTP connection.   - The ioapic_deliver function in virt/kvm/ioapic.c in the     Linux kernel through 3.14.1 does not properly validate     the kvm_irq_delivery_to_apic return value, which allows     guest OS users to cause a denial of service (host OS     crash) via a crafted entry in the redirection table of     an I/O APIC. NOTE: the affected code was moved to the     ioapic_service function before the vulnerability was     announced.(CVE-2014-0155)

  - It was found that the permission checks performed by     the Linux kernel when a netlink message was received     were not sufficient. A local, unprivileged user could     potentially bypass these restrictions by passing a     netlink socket as stdout or stderr to a more privileged     process and altering the output of this     process.(CVE-2014-0181)

  - CVE-2014-0203: The __do_follow_link function in     fs/namei.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.33 does not     properly handle the last pathname component during use     of certain filesystems, which allows local users to     cause a denial of service (incorrect free operations and     system crash) via an open system call.   - CVE-2014-3144: The (1) BPF_S_ANC_NLATTR and (2)     BPF_S_ANC_NLATTR_NEST extension implementations in the     sk_run_filter function in net/core/filter.c in the Linux     kernel through 3.14.3 do not check whether a certain     length value is sufficiently large, which allows local     users to cause a denial of service (integer underflow     and system crash) via crafted BPF instructions. NOTE:
    the affected code was moved to the __skb_get_nlattr and

  - CVE-2014-3917: kernel/auditsc.c in the Linux kernel     through 3.14.5, when CONFIG_AUDITSYSCALL is enabled with     certain syscall rules, allows local users to obtain     potentially sensitive single-bit values from kernel     memory or cause a denial of service (OOPS) via a large     value of a syscall number.   - CVE-2014-4508: arch/x86/kernel/entry_32.S in the Linux     kernel through 3.15.1 on 32-bit x86 platforms, when     syscall auditing is enabled and the sep CPU feature flag     is set, allows local users to cause a denial of service     (OOPS and system crash) via an invalid syscall number,     as demonstrated by number 1000.
