Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Cluster. The version of MySQL Cluster running on the remote host is 7.2.x prior to 7.2.33, 7.3.x prior to 7.3.21, 7.4.x prior to 7.4.19 or 7.5.x prior to 7.5.10. It is, therefore, affected by a denial of service vulnerability in the MySQL Cluster component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Cluster: ndbcluster/plugin). An authenticated, local attacker can exploit this, to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of MySQL cluster.
