Django 1.11.x before 1.11.19, 2.0.x before 2.0.11, and 2.1.x before 2.1.6 allows Uncontrolled Memory Consumption via a malicious attacker-supplied value to the django.utils.numberformat.format() function.

Three security issues were found in Django, a Python web development framework, which could result in denial of service, incomplete sanitisation of clickable links or missing redirects of HTTP requests to HTTPS.

The remote Ubuntu 16.04 LTS / 18.04 LTS host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-3890-1 advisory.

    It was discovered that Django incorrectly handled formatting certain numbers. A remote attacker could     possibly use this issue to cause Django to consume resources, leading to a denial of service.
