CServer::SendMsg in engine/server/server.cpp in Teeworlds 0.7.x before 0.7.5 allows remote attackers to shut down the server.

The remote Ubuntu 20.04 LTS host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-4553-1 advisory.

    It was discovered that Teeworlds server did not properly handler certain network traffic. A remote,     unauthenticated attacker could use this vulnerability to cause Teeworlds server to crash.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

It was discovered that insufficient sanitising of received network packets in the game server of Teeworlds, an online multi-player platform 2D shooter, could result in denial of service.
