Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

The Microsoft Excel Products are missing security updates.
It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities:

  - A remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can     exploit this to bypass authentication and execute     unauthorized arbitrary commands. (CVE-2021-1713,     CVE-2021-1714)

The Microsoft Office product installed on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by multiple remote code execution vulnerabilities in Word and Excel.

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

The Microsoft Office Online Server or Microsoft Office Web Apps installation on the remote host is missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by a remote code execution vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary code when a maliciously modified file is opened. (CVE-2021-1713, CVE-2021-1714, CVE-2021-1715, CVE-2021-1716)
