Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

The Microsoft Excel Products are missing security updates. It is, therefore, affected by the following:

  - A remote code execution vulnerability. (CVE-2024-49026, CVE-2024-49027, CVE-2024-49028,     CVE-2024-49029, CVE-2024-49030)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

The version of Microsoft Office for Mac installed on the remote host is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the november-12-2024 advisory.

  - Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2024-49027, CVE-2024-49028, CVE-2024-49029,     CVE-2024-49030)

  - Microsoft Word Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability (CVE-2024-49033)

  - Microsoft Office Graphics Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2024-49031, CVE-2024-49032)
