Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been found in oSIP, a library implementing the Session Initiation Protocol, which might result in denial of service through malformed SIP messages.

Solution

Upgrade the libosip2 packages.

For the stable distribution (jessie), these problems have been fixed in version 4.1.0-2+deb8u1.

For the upcoming stable distribution (stretch), these problems have been fixed in version 4.1.0-2.1.
