Synopsis

The remote Debian host is missing a security-related update.

Description

It was discovered that a side channel attack in the EdDSA session key handling in Libgcrypt may result in information disclosure.

Solution

Upgrade the libgcrypt20 packages.

For the stable distribution (jessie), this problem has been fixed in version 1.6.3-2+deb8u3.

For the upcoming stable distribution (stretch), this problem has been fixed in version 1.7.6-2.
