Synopsis

The remote web server contains an application that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Adobe Connect installed on the remote host is prior to 9.6.2. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb17-22 advisory.

- Adobe Connect versions 9.6.1 and earlier have a clickjacking vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to a clickjacking attack. (CVE-2017-3101)

- Adobe Connect versions 9.6.1 and earlier have a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to a reflected cross-site scripting attack. (CVE-2017-3102)

- Adobe Connect versions 9.6.1 and earlier have a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to a stored cross-site scripting attack. (CVE-2017-3103)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Connect version 9.6.2 or later.
