Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for liblouis.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2017:3384 advisory.

- liblouis: incomplete fix for CVE-2014-8184 (CVE-2017-15101)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL liblouis package based on the guidance in RHSA-2017:3384.
