Synopsis

The remote web server contains an application that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities.

Description

The version of Adobe Connect installed on the remote host is prior to 9.7.5. It is, therefore, affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the apsb18-06 advisory.

- Adobe Connect versions 9.7 and earlier have an exploitable OS Command Injection. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary file deletion. (CVE-2018-4923)

- Adobe Connect versions 9.7 and earlier have an exploitable unrestricted SWF file upload vulnerability.
Successful exploitation could lead to information disclosure. (CVE-2018-4921)

Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Connect version 9.7.5 or later.
