Synopsis

The remote web server contains an application that is affected by a sensitive information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

The version of Adobe Connect installed on the remote host is prior to 9.7.5. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the apsb18-18 advisory.

- Adobe Connect versions 9.7.5 and earlier have an exploitable Authentication Bypass vulnerability.
Successful exploitation could lead to sensitive information disclosure. (CVE-2018-4994)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade to Adobe Connect version 9.7.5 or later.
