Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch.

Description

According to its self-reported version number, the remote Junos device is affected by a denial of service vulnerability due to a flaw with the Routing Protocols Daemon with Juniper Extension Toolkit support. A remote attacker could exhaust memory resources potentially causing the device to become unavailable.

Solution

Apply the relevant Junos software release referenced in Juniper advisory JSA10882.
