Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security-related patch.

Description

USN-3788-1 fixed vulnerabilities in Tex Live. This update provides the corresponding update for Ubuntu 18.10

It was discovered that Tex Live incorrectly handled certain files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code.
(CVE-2018-17407).

Solution

Update the affected texlive-binaries package.
