Synopsis
The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for jasper.Description
The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2018:3253 advisory.- jasper: reachable assertion in JPC_NOMINALGAIN() (CVE-2016-9396)
- jasper: NULL pointer exception in jp2_encode() (CVE-2017-1000050)
Note that Nessus has not tested for these issues but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.
