Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing a security update for rhvm-appliance.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2019:0461 advisory.

 - systemd: Insufficient input validation in bus_process_object() resulting in PID 1 crash (CVE-2019-6454)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL rhvm-appliance package based on the guidance in RHSA-2019:0461.
