The remote machine is affected by a vulnerability.

Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.04 / MAIN 5.04, has polkit packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- A vulnerability was found in polkit. When authentication is performed by a non-root user to perform an administrative task, the authentication is temporarily cached in such a way that a local attacker could impersonate the authorized process, thus gaining access to elevated privileges. (CVE-2019-6133)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL polkit packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
