Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2019:1898 advisory.

- httpd: Weak Digest auth nonce generation in mod_auth_digest (CVE-2018-1312)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the RHEL httpd package based on the guidance in RHSA-2019:1898.
