Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.04 / MAIN 5.04, has udisks2 packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

 - UDisks 2.8.0 has a format string vulnerability in udisks_log in udiskslogging.c, allowing attackers to obtain sensitive information (stack contents), cause a denial of service (memory corruption), or possibly have unspecified other impact via a malformed filesystem label, as demonstrated by %d or %n substrings.
 (CVE-2018-17336)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL udisks2 packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet. Please contact ZTE for more information.
