Synopsis

The remote Red Hat host is missing one or more security updates for libreswan.

Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2019:3391 advisory.

Libreswan is an implementation of IPsec and IKE for Linux. IPsec is the Internet Protocol Security and uses strong cryptography to provide both authentication and encryption services. These services allow you to build secure tunnels through untrusted networks such as virtual private network (VPN).

The following packages have been upgraded to a later upstream version: libreswan (3.29). (BZ#1738853)

* libreswan: vulnerability in the processing of IKEv1 informational packets due to missing integrity check (CVE-2019-10155)
