Synopsis
The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.Description
The version of tcpdump installed on the remote host is prior to 4.9.2-4. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2020-1385 advisory.In tcpdump 4.9.2, a stack-based buffer over-read exists in the print_prefix function of print-hncp.c via crafted packet data because of missing initialization. (CVE-2018-19519)
