Synopsis

The remote CentOS Linux host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote CentOS Linux 6 host has packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the RHSA-2020:0199 advisory.

- OpenSLP as used in ESXi and the Horizon DaaS appliances has a heap overwrite issue. VMware has evaluated the severity of this issue to be in the Critical severity range with a maximum CVSSv3 base score of 9.8.
(CVE-2019-5544)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Update the affected openslp, openslp-devel and / or openslp-server packages.
