Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco IOS XR Software is affected by a denial of service vulnerability. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted BGP update messages, which could cause the BGP process to restart, resulting in a denial of service.
