Description

The remote NewStart CGSL host, running version CORE 5.04 / MAIN 5.04, has apache-commons-beanutils packages installed that are affected by a vulnerability:

- In Apache Commons Beanutils 1.9.2, a special BeanIntrospector class was added which allows suppressing the ability for an attacker to access the classloader via the class property available on all Java objects. We, however were not using this by default characteristic of the PropertyUtilsBean.
(CVE-2019-10086)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Upgrade the vulnerable CGSL apache-commons-beanutils packages. Note that updated packages may not be available yet.
