Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization for ARM 64 host is missing a security update.

Description

According to the version of the cloud-init package installed, the EulerOS Virtualization for ARM 64 installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerability :

- cloud-init through 19.4 relies on Mersenne Twister for a random password, which makes it easier for attackers to predict passwords, because rand_str in cloudinit/util.py calls the random.choice function.(CVE-2020-8631)

Solution

Update the affected cloud-init package.
