Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Software is affected by a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in the management interface due to how FTD handles session timeouts for management connections. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can exploit this issue, by sending a large and sustained number of crafted remote management connections to an affected device, to cause the remote management interface or Cisco Firepower Device Manager (FDM) to stop responding.

Upgrade to the relevant fixed version referenced in Cisco bug ID CSCvo31790.
