Synopsis

The remote EulerOS Virtualization for ARM 64 host is missing multiple security updates.

Description

According to the versions of the virglrenderer package installed, the EulerOS Virtualization for ARM 64 installation on the remote host is affected by the following vulnerabilities :

 - A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in virglrenderer. The vrend_renderer_transfer_write_iov function allows guest OS users to cause a denial of service or a QEMU guest-to-host escape with code execution. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as to system availability.(CVE-2019-18389)

 - An out-of-bounds read in the vrend_blit_need_swizzle function in vrend_renderer.c in virglrenderer through 0.8.0 allows guest OS users to cause a denial of service via VIRGL_CCMD_BLIT commands.(CVE-2019-18390)

Solution
