Synopsis

The remote Mandrake Linux host is missing one or more security updates.

Description

A bug was discovered in fetchmail 6.2.4 where a specially crafted email message can cause fetchmail to crash.

Thanks to Nalin Dahyabhai of Red Hat for providing the patch to fix the problem.

Solution

Update the affected fetchmail, fetchmail-daemon and / or fetchmailconf packages.
