Synopsis

The remote device is missing a vendor-supplied security patch

Description

According to its self-reported version, Cisco IOS XE Software is affected by an unauthorized file system access vulnerability in its guest shell component due to insufficient file system permissions. An authenticated, local attacker could exploit this, to view or modify restricted information or configurations that are normally not accessible to system administrators.
