Description

The remote Redhat Enterprise Linux 8 host has a package installed that is affected by multiple vulnerabilities as referenced in the RHSA-2020:4172 advisory.

The redhat-virtualization-host packages provide the Red Hat Virtualization Host. These packages include redhat-release-virtualization-host, ovirt-node, and rhev-hypervisor. Red Hat Virtualization Hosts (RHVH) are installed using a special build of Red Hat Enterprise Linux with only the packages required to host virtual machines. RHVH features a Cockpit user interface for monitoring the host's resources and performing administrative tasks.

The ovirt-node-ng packages provide the Red Hat Virtualization Host. These packages include redhat-release- virtualization-host, ovirt-node, and rhev-hypervisor. The following packages have been upgraded to a later upstream version: cockpit-ovirt (0.14.11), imgbased (1.2.12), redhat-release-virtualization-host (4.4.2), redhat-virtualization-host (4.4.2). (BZ#1875362, BZ#1878045)

Security Fix(es):

* grub2: Crafted grub.cfg file can lead to arbitrary code execution during boot process (CVE-2020-10713)

* QEMU: usb: out-of-bounds r/w access issue while processing usb packets (CVE-2020-14364)
