A message queuing service installed on the remote host is affected by an information disclosure vulnerability.

Description

According to its self-reported version, the IBM WebSphere MQ server installed on the remote Windows host is version 8.0.0.x prior to 8.0.0.10, or 9.0.0.x prior to 9.0.0.4. It is, therefore, affected by an information disclosure vulnerability. IBM WebSphere MQ could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the failure to properly validate the SSL certificate. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive information using man in the middle techniques.

Solution

Upgrade to IBM MQ 8.0.0.10 / 9.0.0.4 or later.
