Synopsis

The remote Amazon Linux 2 host is missing a security update.

Description

The version of tested product installed on the remote host is prior to tested version. It is, therefore, affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the ALAS2-2020-1511 advisory.

- An issue was discovered in Poppler through 0.78.0. There is a divide-by-zero error in the function SplashOutputDev::tilingPatternFill at SplashOutputDev.cc. (CVE-2019-14494)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Run 'yum update evince' to update your system.
