Synopsis

The remote Ubuntu host is missing a security update.

Description

The remote Ubuntu 20.04 LTS host has a package installed that is affected by a vulnerability as referenced in the USN-4610-1 advisory.

It was discovered that fastd did not properly handle receive buffers under certain circumstances. A remote attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a memory leak, resulting in a denial of service.
